We scored some great organic veggies the other day at The Farmer’s Market. What does one do with all those veggies? One makes caponata (click here for recipe) of course! And everyone knows that a good caponata needs some really good French baguette bread, so off we went to visit our fave French baker. I ordered two baguettes and two croissants. I didn’t dare order a pattissiere (pastry) because I knew the temptation would be too overwhelming for me to resist. Bread alone, it was!
We finished our day with a shared cappuccino and a gelato. After all, we were in Venice. Even if it was the one that’s in Florida.
Live well and prosper, my friend. Live well and prosper.
